Department Manager - Canned Goods & Edible Grocery
Job description
- Lead the team of Store Associates in the department for mass merchandising, shelf management, stock management and cleanliness of the department.
- Keep the track record of expiries of product during & after stock deliveries in coordination with store associates.
- Train all team members by pointing and discussing their weaknesses and strengths to meet the operational standards
- Reduce the shrinkage level in the department up to the desired level.
- Ensure 100 % cleaning and reduce the expiries in the department
- Ensure 100 % product shelve viability in the department.
- Assist in stock ordering and maintaining the optimum stock level in the department
- Mechanizing of the Department before store opening.
- Responsible for presentation of products according to Planogram.
- Addressing customer complaints to understand customers’ needs and expectations, and to propose solutions.
- Maintenance of Customer file to update and ensure the quality of customer file data to communicate with customers in the most efficient way.
- Perform Weekly, monthly and annual inventory management to have the right stock for the right customer at the right time, and to maximize the ROS.
- Planning of seasonal activities to be in time with planning, merchandizing, reordering, staff scheduling.
- Ensure that each member is adhering to the policies and procedures announced by the management.
Bachelors Or Intermediate with 6 years of experience
