Every year on March 8, the world comes together to celebrate International Women's Day. The day celebrates the achievements and contributions of women in our life, a day set aside to honor women’s contributions to society, the economy, culture, and politics while also bringing attention to the difficulties and challenges faced daily.
At METRO Pakistan, we are celebrating #InspireInclusion, reaffirming our commitment to creating a workplace where all women are empowered, valued, and included.
We commemorate this day with the leadership recognizing our female colleagues for all that they do every day. Sharing stories of the incredible contributions of women in their lives, showing appreciation and gratitude to those who inspired, uplifted and made a difference in their world.

Environmental Social Governance (ESG) cross functional team members visit Akhuwat Women's College Chakwal
METRO Pakistan - Environmental Social Governance (ESG) CFT members visited Akhuwat Women's College Chakwal on June 6, 2024. Akhuwat Women's College Chakwal is a residential institution that houses and educates talented young women selected on merit from across Pakistan. The College's mission extends beyond providing quality education; it aims to nurture and develop the unique talents of its students.
During the visit, our team conducted a comprehensive counseling session with these bright women from all over Pakistan. The session's primary objective was to promote awareness about equal opportunities at METRO Pakistan in line with Diversity Equity & Inclusion policy; also guiding and encouraging these young women to join workforce, grow themselves and contribute positively towards the development of our country. The team also emphasized our company’s commitment to fostering a ONE METRO culture.
