Job description
METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. The merger allowed METRO and Makro-Habib to combine resources and gain the financial strength to lead and grow in a challenging environment and to gain synergies targeted to generate value for our customers and suppliers alike. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad & Faisalabad.

- Report to the CEM and assist in stock ordering and maintaining optimal stock levels in the department.
- Lead the team of Store Associates in mass merchandising, shelf management, stock management, and maintaining department cleanliness.
- Drive productivity improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist the FM in achieving the department's sales targets.
- Manage the department during overnight operations in accordance with DSO (Dark Store Operations) protocols and ensure the department is fully ready before store opening.
- Ensure proper product presentation in accordance with the Planogram.
- Ensure secondary displays are maintained as per BMPL guidelines.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with SOPs and comply with all relevant protocols and policies.
- Ensure discipline in timekeeping and professional attire in accordance with uniform guidelines.
- Conduct QA checks by following all defined protocols and checklists to consistently maintain quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain records of product expiries during and after stock deliveries and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is followed.
- Ensure effective stock and shelf management.
Graduation or equivalent degree
