Job description
METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. The merger allowed METRO and Makro-Habib to combine resources and gain the financial strength to lead and grow in a challenging environment and to gain synergies targeted to generate value for our customers and suppliers alike. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad & Faisalabad.

- Accountable for a Portfolio business plan which focuses clearly on planning, and execution of targeting new and existing customers
- Identifying business potential of the prospective customer and developing a professional relationship through personal visits
- Following up on new customer activity in order to establish customer needs and to respond to any feedback/criticism/potential
- Responsible for increasing sales of existing Institutional customers
- Understanding customer requirements, the local market trends and the company offer in order to identify and respond to opportunities within the customer base, delivering solutions to our customer
- Having sound Market knowledge of customers, competitors and suppliers in order to deal effectively with the competition
- Preparing a sound business case, using all commercial tools in order to attract customers according to their needs and expectations.
- Customer file maintenance
- Daily customer form analysis before visiting him. Set up sales objectives Gap analysis regarding the objectives setting.
- Customer visit Preparation
- Customer file maintenance on the field
- Customer visits follow up
- Evaluation of market share development per customer
- Customer situation analysis and budget follow-up
Bachelors or Intermediate with 6-8 years of experience
