METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad & Faisalabad.

• Analyse logistic structures of service provider. 
• Implement and optimize warehouse processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize productivity. 
• Supervise Warehouse operations in ensuring seamless process.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance warehouse operations and customer satisfaction. 
• Monitor the quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement of goods to cut down the logistics cost. 
• Arrange 100% damage free & on time deliveries, inter store transfer of stock. 
• Ensure implementation of logistics and warehousing SOPs. 
• Monitor LSP KPIs and plan improvements in network channels. 
• Selection and negotiation with third party LSPs. Prepare & finalize Service Agreement Terms with allies & Liaison for space availability, transport options, and delivery order.
• Ensure 100% stock insurance (Goods for re-sales and capital goods) on time and follow up insurance claims. 
• Clear operational matters to succeed with the integration of suppliers into the METRO Pakitan logistics system. 
• Understanding of imports and managing all assignment related to import. 
• Support other supply chain functions / projects for defined target achievements. 

Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC - recognized institution.

3-5 years of relevant experience.
