Job Description

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the defined segments.
  • Delivering new opportunities/customers according to a calendar schedule and generating consistent sales and margin for the new customers through market visit.
  • Analyze customer data and sales history before each market visit to identify gaps and set clear sales objectives.
  • Accountable for the portfolio of customers; customer engagement, execution of sales, managing credit, following up on commitments, establishing customer needs, compliant handing and responsible to feedback
  • Proactively engage customers to understand their specific business needs. Use your deep knowledge of METRO's product portfolio to recommend a range of effective solutions
  • Developing a relationship with cross functional teams (procurement / operations) to come up with Initiatives and customized solutions.
  • Maintaining detail notes and tracking sheets to monitor customer development progress
  • Identifies opportunities for quality and customer service improvement and work smart to meet customer needs along with recognizing acts on customer dissatisfaction and inadequate quality.
  • Takes methodical and consistent approach towards customer service and achieving quality results. Build knowledge of customer needs on the bases of customer interaction and behaviours.
  • Participate in team meetings, sales training sessions and contribute to a positive and high-performance sales culture.

Qualifications
