METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. The merger allowed METRO and Makro-Habib to combine resources and gain the financial strength to lead and grow in a challenging environment and to gain synergies targeted to generate value for our customers and suppliers alike. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Islamabad & Faisalabad.

• Execute day to day treasury operations, accounting and financial record keeping
• Manage Trade/Non-Trade payments
• Reconcile bank accounts, payments
• Coordinate for bank account, BR and authorized signatory update
• Manage treasury accounting postings including bank charges, final settlements and fund transfers
• Handle foreign currency remittance and payments
• Reconciliation and booking of markup/interest
• Petty cash & Utility bills reimbursements
• Manage Bank guarantees including issuance/renewal/release
• Support internal and external audits
• Manage other treasury related operations

B.COM / MBA/ ICMA/ ACCA for a reputed University with 3 years or more relevant expereince in Treasury, Finance or Accounting

Functional Skills:

• SAP / ERP, MS Office Suite,
• Treasury management system (optional)

Treasury operations and accounting, payments processing, bank reconciliations, financial acumen, banking coordination, compliance, analytical and problem solving, accuracy and attention to details.
